Submit a Panopto Video to Brightspace (for students)

STEP 1

In Brightspace, click in to the activity where your instructor has the video submission assignment listed for your submission

STEP 2

At the top of the text submission box, select the Insert Stuff iconImage depicting the "insert stuff" icon.

Then select “Panopto Student Submission Tool”Image of the "Panopto Student Submission Tool" option

 

STEP 3

Options to add your video will appear – Choose your preferred option

  • Choose – will allow you to select a Panopto folder you have the video saved under so that you can select and Insert your video
  • Upload – will allow you to drag/drop or click to upload files saved on your computer
  • Record – will allow you to record a video at this moment in time to be insertedImage of the folder drop-down option to select an existing folder from Panopto - The following options are highlighted with a red rectangle: "Choose;" "Upload;" "Record."

 

STEP 4

Click “Insert” to preview your videoImage of green insert button.

Click “Insert” again to embed your videoImage of blue insert button.

To complete your video submission:

**Ensure to click ‘Submit’ if it’s an assignment, or click ‘Post’ if it’s a Discussion thread** - The video will then be submitted successfullyTwo images - Image on left of the "submit" button. Image on right of the "post" button.
