Brightspace Pulse App

Instructions how to download the Brightspace Pulse mobile app,
which allows students to use their mobile devices to access their courses,
view announcements, due dates and grades in real-time.

 

STEP 1:  

• Download and open the Pulse app from Apple App store  or Google Play.   
   

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 2:

• Log into Brightspace, from upper right corner,
  click on your name. Click Notifications.

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 3:

Register mobile number for notifications.

 

 

 

 

STEP 4:

• Check the selections for instant SMS Notifications you want to receive.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 5:

• Open the app from your mobile device.
• Search for SUNY Old Westbury.

 

 

STEP 6:

• Once you locate the campus, log in with your Old Westbury credentials:
  user name and password.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 7:

• From Brightspace Pulse app, the home page will display all the courses you are enrolled in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

STEP 8:

• Access Upcoming activities, other Courses and Notifications
  using the navigation on the bottom of the screen.
