Instructions how to download the Brightspace Pulse mobile app,
which allows students to use their mobile devices to access their courses,
view announcements, due dates and grades in real-time.
STEP 1:
- Download and open the Pulse app from Apple App store or Google Play.
STEP 2:
- Log into Brightspace, from upper right corner,
click on your name. Click Notifications.
STEP 3:
Register mobile number for notifications.
STEP 4:
- Check the selections for instant SMS Notifications you want to receive.
STEP 5:
- Open the app from your mobile device.
- Search for SUNY Old Westbury.
STEP 6:
- Once you locate the campus, log in with your Old Westbury credentials:
user name and password.
STEP 7:
- From Brightspace Pulse app, the home page will display all the courses you are enrolled in.
STEP 8:
- Access Upcoming activities, other Courses and Notifications
using the navigation on the bottom of the screen.
