Insert a Video Clip into an Existing Panopto Video

You can add clips of video into one of your existing recorded videos and have the video clip appear at a time of your preference

 

STEP 1

Hover over your video that you would like to insert a video clip into. Select “edit”Image of available options after hovering over video, with "edit" button highlighted with a red rectangle.

 

STEP 2

Using the edit tool at the bottom of the page, click where/when you want to insert your video – You should see a red line appear as you click, and this is where the clip will be insertedImage of red arrow pointing to red line in edit timeline, with text "Click here to add clip 10 seconds into video for this example"

 

STEP 3

Click the plus + icon next to the cut tool icon to select your video clip to insertImage of plus symbol highlighted with a red rectangle.

STEP 4

STEP 5

*Ensure to click “Apply” at the top of the page when you’re ready to save the inserted video clipImage of "Apply" button highlighted with a red rectangle.

You should see the video clip in the edit timeline at the bottom of the page, and you should see the content of the clip appear where it was placed when playing the videoImage of video clip appearing within timeline, and the play button highlighted with a red rectangle.
