You must access Banner 9 from the OW campus network. This means you must be on campus or logging into VMWare (ntnxview.oldwestbury.edu) in order to access Banner. Banner 9 is best view using Google Chrome as an alternative to Internet Explorer.
How to launch Google Chrome web browser
- Click Start button (bottom left hand corner of screen)
- Click All Programs
- Click Google Chrome
- Google Chrome will launch
- Go to the OW portal connect.oldwestbury.edu
- For staff, the Banner 9 icon is right on top. For faculty, the Banner 9 link is under Faculty Tools.
If you get errors when logging in, try clearing your cache --> shut the browser down --> resign in.
