You can add a quiz in your Panopto video, and Panopto will automatically grade the quiz for you. You can set up the quiz and view the quiz results in the Panopto website.
Note: Quiz results are not automatically added into your Brightspace gradebook. At the time, you would need to manually insert them yourself if you wish to do so
Add a Quiz to Panopto Video
STEP 1
Navigate to the video you want to add a quiz to and click the ‘Edit’ button
Then select the “Quizzes” option on the left side of the edit page
STEP 2
Select “Add a Quiz” at the top of the page
STEP 3
Navigate to the top right of the page to choose the format of the quiz (ie: multiple choice; true/false)
STEP 4
Add your question and student answer choices where applicable – Select the answer that is the correct answer
STEP 5
When finished setting up your first question, on the bottom right of the page click “Add a Question” to add another question. Click “Done” to finalize the quiz when you’re ready
STEP 6
Manage the quiz options on the final page and finish/apply to implement
**Click “Finish” to save the quiz, then Click “Apply” at the top of the page to implement the quiz**
View Quiz Results
STEP 1
Navigate to the video in Panopto and select “Settings”
STEP 2
Select “Quiz Results” on the left – the results will display on the page. The “download” option can be used to export the quiz results for each student into a spreadsheet for easier viewing
